I'm a semi-realistic illustrator and painter, specializing in expressive characters, vivid colours, and rich narratives. My creations span from book covers to interior art, for adult and young readers. History, politics, and nature are important to me, and I immerse myself in research for my work, prioritizing authenticity and specificity over tropes."
My artistic journey has led me to collaborate on various exciting projects, such as contributing interior art to the Ennie Award-winning tabletop roleplaying book, Uncaged: Goddesses, and crafting illustrations for children's books with Scholastic Singapore. I've also lent my talent to diverse ventures like editorial illustrations for Khōréō Magazine, art for the tabletop RPG Brinkwood by Far Horizons, and comic anthologies like Wayward Sisters and Monster Mash. With a background in Illustration from OCAD University, I blend digital techniques with a strong traditional foundation."
Based in Toronto, my nomadic past between Canada and India has given me an unusual perspective on different lifestyles, cultures and environments in both countries. Aside from art, I love hiking, cooking, and delving into 3D modeling and game design. I also have experience teaching art to both kids and adults - these are very rewarding experiences, that not only honed my communication skills, but gave me more insight into my own artistic process. With my art, I want to evoke a sense of wonder and warmth. Especially in this current era, I think it's more important than ever for art to contain a human touch and foster genuine connection with the viewer.
